Raggy Charters only runs one cruise per day. This is considered unusual in the tourism industry; however, it reduces the impact on the marine life in the areas, as well as carbon emissions. Additionally, Raggy Charters plants at least one indigenous tree (Spekboom) for each of their cruises and the operations are plastic-free.

SANCCOB (Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds) is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of seabirds and is involved in sea bird research, conservation and education.
