Holly Tuppen - Wildlife Heritage Areas

Holly is a freelance writer and responsible travel expert who has specialised in sustainability since circumnavigating the world without flying in 2010. Former Editor of Green Hotelier, Holly now writes for the likes of The Guardian and Conde Nast Traveller, always specialising in how travel can have a positive impact on people and nature. Alongside helping travel companies implement and communicate meaningful change, she’s Communications Manager for conservation-led travel coalition, The Long Run and her debut book, Sustainable Travel: The Essential Guide to Positive Impact Adventures, was published by Quarto Knows in June 2021. Frustrated by limited top-down efforts to curb the climate and biodiversity crises, Holly believes that the empowerment of communities to access, connect with, and protect nature is essential for the future of all life on earth.
