Right Whale Museum in Imbituba

The building contains artefacts used in whale hunting, as well as the bones of the mammals.
The collection, which was stored at the Australis Institute/ Southern Right Whale Project headquarters on Itapirubá Beach, has returned to its old home, the shed called ‘Manoel Rosa’ (one of the last whalers in Imbituba and an active advocate for the conservation of the species).
