Local wildlife champion - Charley Ngongo

Charley is a local forester who dedicates time to informing local people of the importance of wildlife protection and conservation. It is not easy to convince people not to hunt. Most people get irritated and pour out insults, but others listen and promise to change in order to protect the forest. Charley's conservation success is based on education and simple sensitization of the cohabitating possibilities of humans and wildlife. Because he is a trained forester from the National forestry school, he creates occasional visits into the local forest to create conservation awareness. Despite all of these measures, this has limited impact due to a lack of educative material and practical nature conservation but Charley is working to change this situation.
